Welcome to the Factory

July 26, 2009

We would like to thank all of you who have sent us information and pedigree’s from RM together with forum and web searches and archive searches on the web we have developed a comprehensive list that once finished will leave no doubt in any one’s mind that dogs at RM are being factory farmed.

Some of us are breeders ourselves and we are simply horrified at the numbers of puppies coming out of Rutland Manor. This is not responsible ethical breeding.

Our research has confirmed that so far over 400 Rutland Manor puppies were born in just one year- 2005.

We have established that in that year approximately 60 dogs had over 400 puppies.

Most of the poor dogs had back to back litters, for example

  • Rutland’s Lil Muffin Jan 05, July 05.
  • Happy Wanderer of Rutland’s April 05, Nov 05.
  • Mystery of Rutland’s Feb 05, Sept 05.

The list is very long and we will not detail here as yet. We are developing lists for each year. The research has only just begun so please keep emailing us information about your RM puppy and its pedigree.

We also need help with one dog in particular

Where did Happy Wanderer of Rutland’s come from?

Happy Wanderer of Rutlands

Happy Wanderer of Rutlands - Could her name be a clue as to where she came from?

Give Beverley her due here, she picked a good looking pound dog, looks far more Doodley than the near Poodles she breeds!!

Jane is sooo right, fresh blood would do no harm, the breeding program just goes round in circles, totally obvious when we looked thru old pedigrees. Does Bev even know what she is breeding? LOL Radds St Ives a Standard Poodle ( not his real name but from the Wycliffe Yvan/ Jurado Royal Champagne line) is named in pedigrees, with the same poorly disguised ancestors which are on other RM pedigrees as Labradoodles.
Our Labradoodles came from poodles and labradors not the other way round.

The awful thing is that Happy Wanderer was taken from the pound to lead a good life AS A PET or did Bev tell them that she would be mated on every season until she failed to produce because she was too tired and destroyed inside to produce live puppies.

      Like little Snuggles

Happy Wanderer would have been better of doing just that, wandering!!!!!! Where is she now? Such a beautiful girl.

I will be looking at the Rutland Manor pedigrees in thorough detail, Inkers, I know there are anomalies.

Is this why they are called RUTLAND MANOR LABRADOODLE BREEDING & RESEARCH CENTRE? The only research going on appears to be into how many puppies one bitch can produce in the shortest period of time!!!

Taking that question seriously, Rutlands Funnie Bunnie had 49 in 3 years from 7 litters, if that was all! Maybe the “research” can stop now that we know the answer.
