Great news! thanks to your letters to Baw Baw Shire Council, Rutland Manor have been served a first and final warning in regards to over breeding!
Council investigations found that the evidence presented about Shania and the many other dogs being bred back to back with no rest was substantiated.
The evidence was so overwhelming it warranted this final warning and the Rutland Manor dogs will no longer be bred continually without rest.
This final warning was issued thanks to the hundreds of letters Baw Baw Council received urging them to take action. It often only takes a letter and a few minutes of your time to make a difference to these dogs lives. Thank you to everyone who sent a letter to Council.

Well done to everyone for exposing this gross misconduct.
I truely hope this will end the saga of back to back breeding of mulitple litters for RM. Once again RM website has reinvented itself. NO mention of back to back breeding or multiple litters whatsoever. Just more fluff on how they are the only authentic breeders of the Austalian Labradoodles. States she doesn,t bash other breeders, are you kidding me, she had devoted so much time in bashing other breeders previously, why the change now?? Is the truth catching up to her now??
You will never find anyone more inventive than Bev is. I found it interesting that in all the years I have been reading her website there were some points that kept me pondering: Her association turnovers – EVERY single one failed under her; the fact that she never turned in the pedigrees on her dogs to an association; repeat heavy negative campaigning spewed on her website towards many breeders in the U.S.; the lack of indicating which dogs were in the guardian home concept program that she states she implemented; and the lack of testing proof.
She claimed that U.S. breeders were always bashing her, yet none of us ever made mention of her in a negative light on our websites as she did us. We now understand why pedigrees were never ‘given’ as none could be verified and most were questionable. The guardian home program is a great tool for breeders when used properly. It requires excellent communication and a good working relationship and we all know that is not one of Bev’s strong points. She goes through personel like toilet paper and must control everything she ‘owns’. No, I don’t see a guardian home program working for Bev very well at all and I would love to see a list of them that she claims are viable. I would like to know where all her dogs that left in that truck are. I see that there are new breeding progeny on her website now, but wonder what happened to their parents? I bet all were sold to other puppy farmers…or worse.
And the bigger question…if she is going to be monitored about not breeding back to back…who is doing it and what measures will be taken by RM to fill her bankroll as her ‘visible’ financial workforce has been cut in half? Are all those trucked dogs somewhere else to be bred back to back but under a different name?
No, this might protect those poor dogs still housed AT RM, but this does not stop her breeding machine operation.
Where are those original dogs???????

Yes, she does a good job at reinventing herself and her claims of only breeding for the betterment of the breed and NOT to fulfill a puppy market is BS. Geesh, you breed to sell puppies plain and simple and clearly your history shows you breed without the regard of the dogs. No matter how many changes to your website, the fact remains, you are a puppy farmer, with a long list of cruelty to your breeding dogs. When will this stop?? I’m guessing it won’t, cause it’s more important for you to win and save face then have the dogs saved.
We have been looking to purchase a Labradoodle and came across this site. We have spent over an hour reading all the pages. Thank God we found it when we did as we have been looking at Rutland Manor and were about to put our names down for a puppy. Thank you for making people like us aware of whats really going on at this place. You wouldn’t know anything from looking at their website. We have found another breeder that has a good reputation from what we have researched.

The first and final warning is wonderful news. How is this going to be monitored to ensure that the correct thing is done? Council have found that the claims are substantiated, what about other groups like the RSPCA ? Let us see what tricks are pulled this time at the House of Horrors.
How wonderful her new team at RM, what happened to the old team, where are they?? Have they fallen out of favor?? Did they get fed up with the happenings at RM.
I note Beveley’s non renewal of her RM PIAA membership. This is a positive. PIAA profit off the backs of countless numbers of dogs and cats who are used purely for profit and then disguarded. They have NIL credibility and I would think any breeder would in fact find any association with them a hinderence rather than a plus. Pity Beverley didn’t have the same attitude toward underage breeding, continual back to back breeding and debarking as she now appears to have re the sale of underage dogs and cats in pet stores.
hi all, just wanted everyone to be aware… The Rutland Manor kennels also offers boarding to unsuspecting, unknowing individuals…. please warn all in her gippsland area of victoria against using her boarding kennels… if her treatment of her own animals is such, god help those animals of others she is paid to care for…
How will Bev keep boarding dogs quiet? She can’t debark them, surely?

Unfortunately you are correct Rutlands Lil Masquearde (Mask) has had a litter recently. We are told she also has been renamed to “Milly”.
Millie?? Makes you wonder how many times the same dog has been reinvented with another name, doesn’t it? I often wondered about Woody and Lil Woody and many other ‘similar’ names. I always felt they were the same dogs and inbred repeatedly. I wish it could be cleared up but nothing other than DNA from an unbiased source will ever uncover the pedigree mess of RM dogs.
There are many Rutland Manor dogs that have had 2 or more names. Rutlands Flower Power is one example, but there are many more.

I’ve got a huge group of Americans (currently most reside in the NE region) who have had health problems with their Rutland Manor Labradoodles. They’re now ready to talk and I’ve started a blog to let each of them tell their stories. Beverley Manners intimidated each of these people with bizarre threatening emails and they are finally brave enough to ignore her deranged passive aggressive threats and speak out. The truth is coming out from all over the world, epilepsy, painful hip and elbow joints, addisons. The Rutland Manor and Tegan Park Australian Labradoodles are not a healthy new miracle breed for the discerning customer but puppy factory, no care, almost poodles from bad lines sold to people like me who wanted to believe that the hype was true.

Like you I would be very cautious who I told the story too.
The more people who speak out (even if it is anonymous) the more pressure will be brought to bear on the likes of Mutland Manor. The best thing that could happen is that the dogs are re homed Beverley retires to a island where there are no animals and we all live in peace from her rantings and ravings and bald faced lies. I for one have told a lot of stories and to people that may even like Beverley, It doesn’t bother me as I am telling the truth and if her disciples can’t handle it then that is their problem, not mine.
Nothing changes but her website to clean up the lies she has told over the years. She will go to her grave insisting she created this wonderful new fangled dog. The reality she is a money grabbing puppy factory who resorted to debarking her dogs instead of letting them live in homes like she claims she does. I can only hope people have wised up to her ways of intimidating and shuttering the truth and eventually shutting her down!!! This is my hope for the new year.

Bev, how can u be the founder of the breed, when it is clearly NOT a breed?? Your dogs are a mix breed of several dogs who’s pedigrees you refuse to give up due to as you say, I can’t devulge the pedigrees of the pure bred dogs in my lines for they would be in trouble!!! Really?? How in the heck can anyone trace the lineage of their dogs then?? Only the made up names you give them after breeding them with these dogs. Doesn’t sound like a new breed to me! Admit it it’s a crap shoot at best and really there is no such thing as a pure bred Australian Labradoodle, just a mix breed of unknown sources. You gimmick has run it’s course and the world is wise to it!!
